Counseling

Red Cloud Elementary School has a school counselor who provides individual and group counseling sessions, talking circles, and prepares preventive programs on topics such as chemical dependency.

• These sessions and programs allow students to discuss, understand, and foster social relationships, self-esteem, respect and concern for themselves and others. 
• The counselor serves as a resource person within the school, as a link between services available from other community agencies. 
• The counselor also works toward enhancing parental school involvement.
